A note on swag:
Someone once tweeted, "If you post shit about Swag it probably means you have none."
Swag fuels materialism and consumption because any swag you’ve been carrying for longer than a few months has lost it’s swag.
There's an emphasis on the non-natural. Natural beauty had nothing to do with you, swag invokes an active choice in reflecting your consumption...being a good consumer is rewarded.
Swag is about being noticed in a world that’s superficial and visual. It’s fucked but it’s cool, might as well win at it.
